You definitely should. It’s good. Just actually listened to the OST some time ago too.

There was definitely some kind of traffic involved :)

Some great groovy tunes.

So it is a collection of humorous insights into how we react and live in and around cars? Looks fascinating. Kind of a Monte Pythons Flying Circus but cars.

So many poor DSes were harmed though. What is that odd yellow roadster in the second to last video?

It’s a Siata Spring , the same model and color Babar learned to drive on !

Kinja'd!!!

It’s based on a FIAT 850 chassis and drivetrain.

And to answer the other part of the message, he is known for his satires of the “modern society ” that are not looking dated at all, more than 50 years later .

Mon Oncle (My Uncle) and Playtime are  masterpieces :

I don’t believe I am familiar with said Babar adaptation. It kind of makes sense as a car for an elephant though with unlimited headroom and a foldable windshield for extra cabin space. I noticed what appeared to be a s suspiciously well ventilated trunk and figured Fiat mechanicals despite the British front engined roadster look at the front. I see the hood opens in reverse so a safety latch is not required, a useful feature for using the frunk with less hassle.

I’ve never heard of Jacques Tati but I am intrigued. I’ll watch those clips when I have more time. Any idea of where his films are available? What I’ve seen of his work has given me the impression it is right up my alley.
